Info: The Yosemite Community College District board of trustees is seeking applications from people interested in serving on the YCCD Measure E Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee. Vacancies exist in two categories: Modesto Junior College student and college support organization member (such as a college foundation). In addition to satisfying the particular membership category criteria, applicants must also be residents within YCCD's jurisdiction. Info: Signe Darpinian, a marriage and family counselor in Modesto, will hold an "Introduction to Intuitive Eating Workshop." Intuitive eating is a nondieting approach to ending compulsive eating. It encourages people to listen to their bodies' cues, so they can distinguish between hunger and the emotions tied to overeating. Cost for the workshop is $125, which includes lunch.
