Approved a resolution from the League of California Cities opposing the borrowing of local government and transportation funds to balance the state budget. Councilwoman Kristin Olsen added a paragraph acknowledging state legislators had a difficult job.Vote: 6-0. Councilwoman Janice Keating did not attend the meeting.
Renewed service contracts in the Information Technology Department at a cost of $1.1 million.Vote: 5-0, consent calendar. Mayor Jim Ridenour left the meeting early.
Hired Carollo Engineers of Sacramento for work on an anaerobic digester. The company can earn up to $54,630.Vote: 5-0, consent calendar
