Info: The Stockton-San Joaquin County Public Library officially launched free wireless Internet access at its main library and in every branch across the city and county. Wi-Fi is available to anyone with a Wi-Fi enabled laptop, PDA or Wi-Fi-ready gaming device. "This new wireless service is just another way that the library has dedicated itself to connecting to the online world," library director Natalie R. Rencher said in a release. "By transforming our libraries into Wi-Fi hotspots for the community, we revolutionize our ability to serve people." A Frequently Asked Questions section will be added to the Stockton- San Joaquin County Public Library Web site (www.stockton.lib.ca.us) to help customers with detailed questions and further information guiding them in the use of the new free service.
