X marks the spot as big music festival comes to Modesto today

The Xclamation Festival is under way in downtown Modesto. The temperature was in the mid-90s as the gates opened at 5 p.m. Much of downtown is blocked to traffic, and as thousands of X-Fest fans are rocking their way through the night as as regional and big-name acts perform.

Some streets will remain closed until Sunday morning.
