Mall Goes Country

Ag Day at Vintage Faire Mall on Wednesday featured displays on fruit, nuts, milk, wine and other farm products from the Northern San Joaquin Valley, along with related topics such as irrigation, tractors, food processing and winemaking. It was part of National Agriculture Day, an annual effort to educate people about the food and fiber they consume. The mall event was sponsored by the organizers of the Ag Science Center, an interactive museum planned for the West Campus of Modesto Junior College.
