Celebrate holidays with scouts, music

Cadet Girl Scouts Troop 3776 is putting on Santa's Celebration. The event will take place today at First Presbyterian Church,

2619 N. Berkeley Ave., Turlock, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A donation of $6 per child includes a picture with Santa, cookies, hot chocolate, crafts and lots of fun. 75 YEARS AGO: Winners in the Christmas season window decoration contest conducted by the Merchants' Bureau of the Modesto Chamber of Commerce in connection with its yuletide program were announced by LaVerne Leiter, chairman of the window committee.
