Brush fresh fava bean pods with olive oil and season with sea salt and pepper, then grill the whole pods over a hot fire for three to four minutes per side, until black blisters form. Turn the pods and grill for another two to four minutes. Pry open the pods, slip the bean out of its skin and pop it into your mouth.
