Modesto High students present ‘Dance 24/7’
It’s spring – time to welcome the innovation, creativity and moves of the annual dance concert produced by Modesto High’s dance production students.
The show, titled “Dance 24/7,” is directed by Shelly Coito and reflects the thrill of dancing. “Dance 24/7” will be performed April 3-5 at 7:30 p.m. in the Modesto High auditorium. Tickets for general admission are $6 and can be purchased at the door.
MHS students have choreographed dances in several styles, including jazz, tap and modern. Members of the dance production class have been working diligently on choreography since October. A piece created by guest choreographer and assistant director Cassie Gardner-Hilder will also be featured in the show. The choreography aims to express feelings and personal stories of the participants.
