Where would you go to find exclusive interviews with celebrities, practical but hot fashion tips, smart advice for school and a keen understanding of what you think, want and feel as a teenage girl?
Most girls would say they'd go straight to Google or MySpace, but that's because they don't know about Girl Scouts' secret: Hear & Now. H&N is the only magazine for teens published by Girl Scouts, and it's written entirely by Northern California girls; even the questions in the advice column were asked by girls from all over the council.
So if you'd like to read an interview with Taylor Swift that was conducted by a Girl Scout, read some great advice for real girls with real questions, read your horoscope or learn what's going on in the world for girls your age, then you need to find a copy of H&N.
How can you get your hands on one? Write to Girl Scouts (the Modesto Office is 3621 Forest Glenn Drive, Modesto 95355) or send an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and ask for one; Girl Scouts will send it to you for free.
Girl Scouts ages 11 to 17 will get a new magazine every time it comes out, and they don't have to call in for one. The new issue of Hear & Now comes out in May.
