Well-known Bible teacher comes for Stockton conference

Beth Moore is a popular, internationally known author of books and Bible studies for women. She’ll be in Stockton on June 6-7 for a “Living Proof Live” concert, complete with worship led by Dove Award musician Travis Cottrell, and Moore’s signature humor and Bible insights.

Internationally known Bible teacher, author and speaker Beth Moore will be in Stockton June 6-7 for a Living Proof Live conference.

Moore, who will speak at only 11 conferences in 2014, is the author of studies such as “Breaking Free,” “Believing God” and “When Godly People Do Ungodly Things,” which have been read by women of all ages, races and denominations.

The popular speaker from Texas most recently released “James: Mercy Triumphs” and “Children of the Day.”

More than 700,000 people have attended her conferences, which have included stops in all 50 states plus Ireland, England, Singapore, the Philippines, Puerto Rico and India.

It is not unusual for her to draw several thousand people – mostly women – from several states at a conference. However, there are still plenty of seats left in the 12,000-seat Stockton Arena, organizers said.

Known for her humor, her evolving Texas hairstyles and stories, and her ability to connect with women, Moore is the founder of Living Proof Ministries, which exists to promote biblical literacy.

Dove-award winning artist Travis Cottrell, a worship pastor from Jackson, Tenn., will lead music at the event, which runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. June 6 and from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. June 7.
