HOME FOR HOLIDAYS — 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m Saturday, First United Methodist Church, 16th and I streets, Modesto. Annual Home for the Holidays event features sales of books, candy, home, garden and garage items, homemade goods and jams, a silent auction and an Apple Orchard brunch with omelets and waffle bars. Hatch Road, Ceres. 17th annual community interfaith Thanksgiving celebration includes sacred music, music and words of thanks from Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jewish, Muslim, pagan, Sikh and other faith traditions.
