FUNDRAISER – Noon to 10 p.m. Friday, Panda Express restaurants on Orangeburg and Briggsmore avenues, Modesto. Portion of each food purchase (with flier) will benefit Healing Nations, a nonprofit agency that serves at-risk children and youth in west Modesto. DINNER WITH THE BISHOP – 5:30 p.m. hors d’oeuvres and silent auction, 6:30 dinner on Saturday at Modesto Centre Plaza, 1000 L St. Fund-raising dinner with Stockton Diocese Bishop Stephen Blaire benefits diocese’s vocation ministry. Table sponsorships $2,000 to $10,000; individual tickets, $50; deadline to reserve seats is Monday.
