My Favorite Car: I have always loved Corvettes. I had a 1989 one, but it was hard to get into with a bad back. I have always liked the body style of the Stingrays, and the 1976 is the last year of the Stingray.
Chuck Evers said when he was in eighth grade in 1953, he was riding his bike to a Saturday show and rode past a Chevrolet dealer and saw the Corvette on the showroom floor. "Oh, boy!," he said. "So much for the show. I went in and looked at the car -- WOW! Love at first sight."
