Pat Lytle of Rancho Murieta loves the apple coleslaw served at Sudwerk Riverside Restaurant and Brewhouse in Folsom. She was hoping for its recipe or one similar.
Although we haven't received Sudwerk's recipe, Pearl Taylor of Oakdale shares her easy recipe and says everyone loves this coleslaw. I made it using dried, cherry-flavored cranberries instead of the raisins, and it was delicious.
Ingredients:
1 (1-pound) bag pre-chopped coleslaw mix
2 red apples, chopped (not peeled)
1 (1-pint) bottle Hidden Valley coleslaw dressing
1 cup raisins, optional (or dried cranberries)
Instructions:
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients.
