Coconut water is a natural electrolyte-replacing hydrator. It can be found at many grocers and health-food stores. This water is also rich in vitamin C, iron and calcium.
Ingredients:
2 golden kiwis, peeled
2-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped
1 cup fresh or unsweetened canned coconut water
4 cups water
Instructions:
Place all ingredients in a blender and purée until smooth, for about one minute.
Strain the purée through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher. Serve cold or at room temperature.
