High holy day services at Congregation Beth Shalom

High holy days services at Congregation Beth Shalom:

Friday: 7:30 p.m., Rosh Hashana service adds prayers and choir selections. Food served afterward, as usual.

Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., first day of Rosh Hashana service includes poems and cantor with special music;

7 p.m., "normal service on steroids" with extra elements.

Sept. 20: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., second day of Rosh Hashana service includes blowing of shofar.

Sept. 27, 5:45 p.m., kol nedrei service to begin Yom Kippur.

Sept. 28, 9 a.m. until finished (no set time), Yom Kippur service with memorial prayers; 5 p.m., family-friendly service, ending at 7:30 p.m. with long blast on the shofar, followed by light meal at CBS.
