THE CAR: 1979 Cadillac Coupe De Ville

THE OWNER: Donald Patch of Modesto

WHAT SPARKED THE INTEREST: This was my first new car purchase and I decided to go for the best, which meant Cadillac.

Donald Patch's Favorite Car, a 1979 Cadillac Coupe De Ville.

ROAD TO OWNERSHIP: I'm the original owner.

UNDER THE HOOD: 7.0-liter, 425 cubic inches, V8

BODY OF WORK: Original

FAVORITE MEMORY: Showing the many options/accessories to my wife, who at that time wasn't even my girlfriend. Another memory is having the grandkids ask, "Where's the cupholder?"
