At the Andy Silva Jr. Golf Awards and Scholarship dinner at the SOS Club in Modesto on Oct. 17, Johansen High School seniors Christine Uhalde and Daniel Covrig received the 2009 Andy Silva Jr. Achievement Award/Player of the Year in recognition of their outstanding progress and achievement in the game of golf. This is the second year Christine has won the award, and the first for Daniel.
