Correction (10-30-2013)

A story that ran in Monday’s Sun-Star titled “Candidates give final fund reports” contained incorrect information about campaign contributions with respect to Merced City Council candidates Alex Gallardo Jr., a teacher, and Monica Kay Villa, a homemaker. Both informed the city clerk’s office they are not accepting $1,000 or more in contributions, which exempts them from filing an itemized list.
