Club Mercedes menudo on Sundays

Young Eagle Day on Saturday
The Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 1401 will sponsor a Young Eagle Day with registration from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Merced Airport on Grogan Avenue. There will be free airplane rides for those ages 8 through 17. A parent or guardian must be present. Call (209) 722-6666.

Merced College will be accepting instructor proposals for the spring 2014 classes that begin in January and run through June. Responsible Dog Owner Day
The Yosemite Kennel Club will sponsor a Responsible Dog Owner Day from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 28 at the Merced Dog Park on Yosemite Avenue. This event is free and dogs on leashes are welcome to attend. There will be demonstrations, contests and a meet-the-breed parade. A Canine Good Citizen test will be available for $10.
