The 31st annual Kiki Raina Tahiti Fete was held at the Merced County Fairgrounds. The annual three-day festival brings Polynesian dance troupes from around the state to compete in traditional dance techniques. Dancers of all ages compete in a variety of categories throughout the weekend. In addition to their moves, dancers are also judged on their costumes and headdresses, which must be adorned with fresh cut flowers and assembled on site.–
