What is the primary reason you are running for thisoffice? I've truly enjoy it. Over the last four years we have succeeded in numerous ways and I am proud to have been a part of those achievements. My goal is to see the CUSD continues on the path.
What will your single most important priority be ifyou get elected?
There isn't just one priority, there are many. We have strived to get this school district moving in the right direction. While we have made great progress, we now need to ensure that we can take CUSD from being a good school district to being a Great school district. CUSD has what it needs, it just doesn't have everything it wants. I am determined to work on getting those wants and needs for the district. What sets you apart from the other candidates?
Once I became a board member, I realized that I can't change everything the we would like. The budget usually puts a stop to many of the those items.
I've always tried to treat everyone equal and I usually wear my heart on my sleeve; so as that ole saying goes, you get what you see. I'm up front and not afarid to speak my mind or speak up for others. What I truly want to do is speak up for the children. Every child needs that special attention and if I can help get parents in educating their child, then I know the result will be a happier child who will go far in education. If I do my job, CUSD will help every child and then we will truly be the great district we want to be.
