Bike Blessing is Saturday

The Sons of Thunder will hold its annual Bike Blessing on Saturday. Sign-in is 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. with coffee and doughnuts at Christian Life Center, 650 E. Olive Ave. They will ride through the foothills to Henderson Park in Snelling. There will be a barbecue, live music and motorcycle show, with T-shirts and pins available for purchase. Get rid of household hazardous waste

The Merced County Regional Waste Management Authority will accept household hazardous waste on Saturday at the Highway 59 Landfill for residents and conditionally-exempt small quantity generators. ‘Toys for All’ exhibit

The Arbor Gallery will open the “Toys for All” exhibit with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Multicultural Arts Center, 645 W. Main St. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to Saturday. Call (209) 384-8838 for more information.

Fundraiser for treasurer candidate

Day trip to Chukchansi

The Italian Catholic Federation will sponsor a day at Chukchansi Casino. The bus leaves from the parking lot across from the post office on 23rd Street at 9 a.m. April 28. Book sale at library

The Atwater branch of the Merced Library is having a book sale throughout April. The library is at 1600 Third St. Cost is $3 for a bag of books. The library is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
