Senior poets plan reading

Parenting workshop

Polenta and chicken meal

The Italian Catholic Federation is having a polenta and chicken dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. March 19 at the Italo-American Lodge, 18th and U streets. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7.50 for children under 12. Tickets may also be used for take-out dinners at the kitchen door. Mr. Golden Valley Pageant

Golden Valley High Leadership will host the school’s annual Mr. GV Pageant at 7 p.m. Saturday in the school’s theater, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Come out for a night of entertainment as 10 senior boys compete for the 2014 title. Quilt show bus trip
