Stanislaus County sheriff’s officials on Friday released security camera images of a man robbing a pizza takeout business late Sunday afternoon.
The man entered the Papa Murphy’s Take ’N’ Bake Pizza at 1010 W. Las Palmas Ave., just west of Ward Avenue, in Patterson. He was wearing a black Oakland Raiders jacket, black baseball cap and sunglasses.
Sheriff’s officials said the robber demanded money from an employee, who gave him an undisclosed amount of cash. The robber then left the business with the stolen cash. He was not seen leaving the area in a vehicle.
Investigators continued looking for the unidentified man Friday afternoon and were asking for the public’s help in finding him.
Sheriff’s officials ask anyone with information about this robbery or the man’s identity to call Detective Casey Hill of Patterson Police Services at ( 209) 892-5071 or Crime Stoppers at (209) 521-4636. Tipsters can email through the Crime Stoppers website, www.stancrimetips.org, or text tips to CRIMES (274637) by typing “Tip704” plus a message. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.
