Joe Genshlea, a founding partner of business law and litigation firm Weintraub Tobin Chediak Coleman Grodin Law Corp., is leaving the firm at the end of this year to focus on his new mediation practice.

The current firm was formed in July this year when the Sacramento law firm of Weintraub Genshlea Chediak Tobin & Tobin Law Corp. – which also has an office in San Francisco – and Los Angeles-based Weissmann Wolff Bergman Coleman Grodin LLP announced the merger of their business and entertainment law firms.

The firm has more than 70 lawyers in three offices.

"The firm is on solid ground and in good hands with its current leadership. The direction the firm has gone these last few years gives me great confidence that the legacy I helped to build will carry on," Genshlea said.
