Trustee, Board of Education, Oakdale Joint Unified School District
What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
To continue the unfinished projects of the Bond Election, mainly the upgrading of classroom structures at the Junior High site and the construction of an aquatic center at the High School site. Equal to the above reason or perhaps more important is the financial impact on the district created by the State’s fiscal situation. My main concern is to at least maintain the level of educational excellence that we have worked so hard for.
What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?
To continue to provide the best possible educational opportunities for all the students of the district, regardless of their level of expertise.

My extensive background in education and my years of experience on the school board.
