What office do you seek?

Oakdale Joint Unified School District Board Trustee, Area 2

What is the primary reason you are running for this office?

We are in uncharted waters. Our nation is facing the worst recession since post World War II. The state government is in economic peril and has borrowed billions of dollars from our public school system with no means to pay it back. Our children’s futures rest in the balance. That is why I am running for re-election as Board Trustee. I am running to ensure our children receive the quality education they deserve; to see that our curriculum meets the highest standards; to make sure we have a safe environment for our children; and to take the necessary steps to build quality facilities for the future.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected?

I am proud of what the Oakdale Joint Unified School District Board of Trustees has accomplished during my tenure. Our achievements are extraordinary however; we still have work to do. I look forward to finishing what I have started and continuing to give back to this great community of Oakdale.

What sets you apart from the other candidates?

I believe that with teamwork you can achieve the extraordinary. I have spent my life practicing collaborative leadership, solving problems, and working through adversity. In these difficult economic times our children need my experience and leadership.
