Stanislaus County is America's car theft capital, with the highest per capita rate of vehicle theft in the country. But law enforcement is catching up in the race against thieves.

One tool police use is the "bait car," a vehicle rigged with cameras that catches thieves red-handed.

Watch the Stanislaus County Auto Theft Task Force use bait cars in a video posted each week on Modbee.com. Parents, be warned: some of the videos includes objectionable language and actions.

Some of the videos run as long as 10 minutes, others much shorter. Some include arrests at the end, and others don't.
