Fierros, 37, of Winton was found in the early morning hours in the 400 block of Lewis Street after two 911 calls came in, police said. Police said one was from a pay phone a few blocks from the house. The caller spoke broken English and was hard to understand, he said. The second came from a pay phone four miles away, giving police enough detail to lead them to the house.

Synopsis: Fierros, 37, of Winton was found in the early morning hours in the 400 block of Lewis Street after two 911 calls came in, police said. Police said one was from a pay phone a few blocks from the house. The caller spoke broken English and was hard to understand, he said. The second came from a pay phone four miles away, giving police enough detail to lead them to the house.

Motivation: The house was empty when police discovered Fierros' body. Police do not believe the victim was alone and are searching for the people who lived there. There is no evidence of gang involvement or forced entry to the house, police said. Police removed a stash of drugs and firearms from the foreclosed house.
