DAY TRIPS BY BUS
Would you like to take a day trip but don't want to do any driving? You know, just a dash to Yosemite or the coast or into the Bay Area? For many years, the best way to do it has been by bus on escorted and guided outings with one of three local agencies: Modesto Junior College Community Education, Storer Coachways and Dick Griffin's Big Valley Travel Club.on
STORER COACHWAYS: In addition to daily casino runs and long-distance travel (Mount Rushmore, Von Trapp Family Lodge in Vermont, Canadian Rockies, Branson Christmas), Storer runs day trips to Yosemite, the Giants-Dodgers series, Santa Cruz, Bonfante Gardens, Monterey Aquarium, etc., with pickup at Modesto, Oakdale, Manteca and Turlock.

Also, sign up now for the 2010 "Alpine Countries & Oberammergau -- The Passion Play," 13 days (July 14-26), tour Austria, Germany and Switzerland and see the 350-year-old Passion Play, performed at Oberammergau only in years ending in zero. The trip will be sold out by fall.
