Select boxes on the left to limit the homicides you see to certain years, genders, races or other factors. The gray bar next to your selection explains how many cases fall into that category. Races are color coded, and age is indicated by the small bar alongside each icon.
Curious about the open cases? Click "Open" under "Status." Wondering about how many people died from gunfire? Click "Shooting." To uncheck all the checked boxes, just select "Uncheck All."
To find a specific victim, scroll below the map for the list of all the county’s homicides back to 2006. Sort by name, date, agency or other factors, by clicking on the section heading. Click the small gray box to the left of the victim’s name to see the victim’s page. Click the red box or the victim’s name to locate the victim on the map.

Last of seven suspects in triple murder at home across from Creekside Gold Course, Ricky Javier Madrigal, 20, is in custody after turning himself into police.
They were young and old, a range of races. They came from all corners of the county, though the majority were concentrated inside Modesto's city limit.
