As we approach the grand opening of the Gallo Center for the Arts, we are reminded of the tremendous efforts of a great number of people who have contributed either their time or their resources, or both, to build this community treasure. We are also mindful of the fact that, not only has this been a community effort, it has also brought together our diverse community. It is our hope and dream that the Gallo Center for the Arts will continue to bring our community together and that you will consider the Gallo Center to be YOUR arts and entertainment center.

Throughout the 10 years that we have worked to make this dream a reality, it has always been clear that it could never be accomplished without the hard work and dedication of many people. We want to thank our partner, the county of Stanislaus, and its chief operating officer, Patty Hill Thomas, and her outstanding staff, the more than 3,400 generous donors, and the many volunteers who have donated their valuable time, energy and vision to this project. We also want to thank members of the Gallo Center's superb staff for their tireless efforts. Our goal of building a performing arts center could never have been accomplished without the help of all of these people and the support of our community. We thank you all!

We are very excited about the diverse lineup of performers our executive director, Dave Pier, has assembled for our grand opening festivities and the inaugural season. We hope our inaugural season has something in it for everyone in our community.
