Paint It Pink

Heather Sutton and friends added a little pink to their styles Wednesday thanks to Streaks Salon in Modesto.

The coloring was done in support of Sutton, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. It was her last hair appointment before she begins three months of chemotherapy later this month.

Their demonstration of support for Sutton also was done in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The National Breast Cancer Awareness Month organization is a partnership of national public service organizations, professional medical associations and government agencies working to promote awareness and increase access to screening services.
