Prospective nursing students curious in entering or continuing in the field have some important dates coming up.
First, at noon Thursday students are invited to a free information session at California State University, Stanislaus to learn about its master of science in nursing programs. Prospective students will hear about the graduate program, admissions, requirements and the application process.
The deadline to apply to the master’s program is June 1. Nursing professionals who wish to further their careers in the nursing field are highly encouraged to apply. For more information, visit www.csustan.edu/nursing or call (209) 664-6591.
Younger students interested in exploring careers in nursing also have an opportunity to learn more about this field this summer. The Rho Tau chapter of Sigma Tau International will hold a Nursing Camp at CSU Stanislaus June 3.
The day camp is designed for teens in high school to spend the day with nursing professionals and students. Registration is $40 and includes the full program, lunch and more.
The deadline to register is Friday. Call (209) 535-4928 or (209) 480-4122.
