Get your salsa on at the kickoff of Latin Music Dances at The Seasons in Modesto. The monthly Friday events sponsored by Olé Productions will feature an array of styles, from mambo to rumba, cha-cha, salsa, cumbia, merengue and more. Tonight is Mascabeza, a San Francisco-based Latin jazz group. Free lessons begin at 7:30 p.m. each show from You Can Dance Co. Music and dance at 8 p.m.

See the world-famous Vienna Boys Choir at the Gallo Center for the Arts Saturday. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. in the Rogers Theater. The boys range in age from 10 to 14 and are known for their high musical standards. The group was founded in 1498 as court musicians for Emperor Maximilian I. Call 338-2100 or see www.galloarts.org.
