Hip hop artist Eminem lit up President Donald Trump for his alleged racist behavior during a relentless freestyle rap that was part of the BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday.
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, called out Trump for a variety of issues including white supremacy, immigration, gun control, lack of support and aid in Puerto Rico following massive hurricane damage, and the president’s criticism of NFL players for kneeling during the national anthem.
Eminem unleashed the fury during a prerecorded rap and called Trump “a kamikaze that’ll probably cause a nuclear holocaust.”
Never miss a local story.
“It’s like we take a step forward, then backwards, but this is his form of distraction,” Eminem says in his a cappella rap. “Plus he gets an enormous reaction, when he attacks the NFL. So we focus on that.
“Instead of talking Puerto Rico or gun reform for Nevada. All these horrible tragedies. And he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm with the Packers.”
Eminem went on to reference Trump’s feud with ex-San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, as well as Arizona Republican Senator John McCain, who was a prisoner of war during the Vietnam War.
The hip hop icon ended his flow with a message to his own fans.
“And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line,” Eminem said. “You’re either for or against. And if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for you with this.”
Then Eminem raised his middle finger and flipped off the camera.
