Candidate workshop next weekend

Considering running for public office, this November, next year or sometime in the future?

If so, we urge you to attend a free candidate workshop, which will feature local experts talking about how to get started, campaign finance and reporting requirements, campaign strategy and reaching voters. Campaign treasurers also are welcome to attend.

The workshop is from 9 a.m. to noon July 11 at The Bee, 1325 H St., Modesto. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m.

The session is sponsored by the Modesto Chamber of Commerce, the Democratic Party of Stanislaus County, the Republican Party of Stanislaus County Central Committee and The Modesto Bee/modbee.com
