Stu,

I was offered the following trade in a Points Per Reception league: Brian Westbrook, Jeremy Shockey and Kevin Smith for LaDainian Tomlinson, Jason Witten and Nate Burleson. I would be receiving Tomlinson. Westbrook and Tomlinson were separated by three points last year with our scoring. I would trust Witten with my children and Shockey has never played 16 games. I guess I am stuck wondering if I should give up Smith to upgrade at tight end. My other team members are: Big Ben Roethlisberger, Braylon Edwards, Torry Holt, Jamal Lewis, Anquan Boldin, Chris Perry, Chester Taylor, Kurt Warner and Bernard Berrian.

What do you think about this deal? Thanks.

MIKE M.

SR: You've gotta jump on this one, Mike. Westbrook is special, but you've got to give to get -- and you're getting the No. 1 running back in Tomlinson and the No. 1 tight end in Witten, so don't let Smith hold you up. Plus, you'll still have Lewis, Taylor (Adrian Peterson will go down at some point, count on it) and Perry is the starter in Cincy. Also, Burleson is a pretty solid No. 3 receiver, too. I'd do it in a heartbeat. Thanks for reading and best of luck this season.
