Cafe California in Davis closed in 2005, and I am hoping that the owners, Larry and Cathy Olson, might see this request. We always ordered their curried chicken with broccoli dish. It had a creamy curried white sauce topped with cheddar and was served with a wonderful salad that included orange slices and sesame seed dressing. It was our favorite and we have really missed it. I would love to be able to enjoy it again. Thanks.
Fins coleslaw, please: I am looking for the coleslaw recipe (they may call it cabbage salad) that is served at Fins. It comes with their wonderful fish dishes and sandwiches. It's not your traditional coleslaw. It seems to have a vinegar-and-sugar base. Does anyone have this recipe or one similar that does not have a mayonnaise base?
