I have been searching everywhere for a recipe for capirotada.
This dish is like a bread pudding and I think it's only made during Eastertime. My grandmother used to make it; I never got the recipe. It was in The Modesto Bee a couple of years ago. Can someone help me?
Ribs 'n' rings: I used to live in the Bay Area. Down on the Peninsula, there was a small chain of restaurants called Stickney's
Hickory House. They had the best barbecue ribs and onion rings. The barbecue sauce was not tomato-based. Does anyone have the recipes for the ribs and rings?
Irish coffee break: Is there anywhere in Sacramento where one can get a good Irish coffee? We are looking for a place that makes it with Irish whiskey, sugar, coffee and cream on top; nothing fancy, just good.
