I had dinner at Carver's Restaurant in Roseville during the holidays and had the wonderful tomato jalapeño soup. Would it be possible to get this recipe or one similar?
La Bou Caesar, anyone?: Does anyone have the recipe for Caesar dressing served at La Bou, or one close to it? I have tried a lot of Italian restaurants' dressings and no one can touch La Bou's. Thanks.
Ham and hammer: My mother used to make a ham that was the juiciest I have ever had. She used to wrap it in a dough with a small hole on the top to vent it. When it was done, the dough was so hard, my dad broke it up with a small hammer. The dough was not edible, so it wasn't a Wellington-type recipe. Any ideas are appreciated.
