Randy Dugger has been named director of hospitality at Black Oak Casino in Tuolumne County. With more than 30 years of food, beverage and hospitality experience, Dugger spent the past 12½ years as the general manager and director of guest services for Spirit Mountain Ca- sino in Oregon.

Dugger will oversee all seven bars, restaurants and the first-floor family entertainment center, including the arcade and Black Oak Lanes, a 24-lane Brunswick Bowling Center. Dugger also will provide leadership on the development plan for the future hotel expansion.

Black Oak Casino is owned and operated by the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk Indians in Tuolumne. The casino encompasses 164,770 square feet of gaming and entertainment, including electronic poker tables, more than 1,000 slot machines and table games.

Stanislaus County's deputy executive officer has received one of 16 fellowships given out statewide.

Keith Boggs, with the county for eight years, was selected by the Community Technology Foundation to join Class III of the ZeroDivide Fellowship. The purpose of the two-year fellowship is to promote social justice by using information and communications technology.

While with the county, Boggs has been involved in the creation of the economic development strategy Connecting Stanislaus.

Corrin Cresci of Modesto has earned the use of a Mary Kay pink Cadillac, the most coveted incentive awarded by the company. The Cadillac comes in pearlized pink, a color unique to the Mary Kay Career Car Program.

Independent sales directors earn the use of Mary Kay career cars through outstanding sales achievements by themselves and their units.

Cresci has chosen the SRX, which is one of three Cadillac models available to Mary Kay independent sales directors. Mary Kay career car qualifiers also have the option of selecting cash in lieu of the car.

Cresci took delivery recently of her Cadillac, her fifth Mary Kay career car, at Mataga Cadillac in Stockton.

Cresci began her independent Mary Kay business as an independent beauty consultant in 1999 and became an independent sales director in 2000.

Maggie Miles, co-founder of Miles Media Inc. of Gig Harbor, Wash., a marketing and advertising agency, has won the 2007 Larry Dovichi Award for outstanding achievement and service to the newspaper industry.

The award was established by the Western States Co-Op Advertising Newspaper Network and is named for recently retired co-op advertising pioneer Larry Dovichi, formerly of The Mo- desto Bee and Merced Sun-Star.

For more than 15 years, Miles and her agency have repre- sented top newspapers in the Pacific Northwest, including the Tacoma News-Tribune, a Mc- Clatchy publication; The Orego- nian; and Horvitz Newspapers serving Washington state.
