PATTERSON -- A Modesto Bee delivery truck taking papers to the west side of Stanislaus County overturned this morning. There were no reports of injuries, but deliveries were delayed in Patterson, Newman, Gustine and Westley.
Eric Johnston, publisher and president of The Bee, said law enforcement officers responding to the wreck near Patterson would not allow the papers to be removed. So about 3,000 replacement papers were printed and sent to the west side for delivery.
Some households may not receive today's paper until Saturday, Johnston said.
