Missing Turlock boy found at relative's home

A Turlock boy reported missing since Friday afternoon was found safe at a relative's house this morning.

Police in Turlock sent out fliers early this morning asking for the public's help to find the missing 8-year-old.

Unaware her son was at a relative's home, Benny Athan Perez' mother called police about 10 p.m. and reported him missing. He had been last seen at Wakefield Elementary School, 400 South Ave.,

After school, Benny did not return to his home in the 900 block of Vermont Avenue, police said in a news release. The boy had no history of running away.
