Weekend sweep – Stanislaus women climb into second place in CCAA

The Cal State Stanislaus women’s basketball team completed a weekend sweep with a 63-55 win Saturday night at home over a Cal State Los Angeles team coached by basketball icon Cheryl Miller. The Warriors sit alone in second place in the California Collegiate Athletic Associaton. Later, the Stanislaus men could not hold onto a second-half lead and were beaten by the Golden Eagles 66-59.
