Cal State Stanislaus’ NCAA soccer run ends in dramatic fashion

Despite peppering the Colorado School of Mines goal with several shots, the Cal State Stanislaus women’s soccer team lost 4-3 to the Orediggers on penalty kicks in an NCAA Division II Tournament game in Golden, Colo. The Warriors, who won three straight road games to get to within a game of the national semifinal in Kentucky, finish the season 16-5-1.
