Dozens of student sleuths attend first Modesto police CSI Camp

Dozens of juveniles were photographed and fingerprinted at Enslen Park on Monday morning, but they were absolutely on the right side of the law. The 25 fifth- through eighth-graders are participating in the first CSI Camp, presented by the Modesto Police and Parks, Recreation and Neighborhoods departments.

Section denies Beyer appeal of D-I tennis final: ‘It’s over with’

Sac-Joaquin Section commissioner Mike Garrison has upheld the result of the Division I singles championship, denying an appeal by Beyer High and the family of former champion Ryan Lewis. Lewis was defeated by rival Coby McCaig, but his father contends he wasn’t given enough time to rest between the semifinal and final match.
