Merced Breaking
All lanes of southbound Highway 99 have reopened after a fatal accident just south of the Merced County line closed them this morning. According to the California Highway Patrol, a passerby reported seeing a car overturned in the southbound lanes at 4:22 a.m.
A shooting incident in Merced's Loughborough area Friday night has turned into a homicide investigation.
