A short, fast, potentially dangerous chase of suspected shoplifters ended with a dramatic crash Friday morning after a police car intentionally bumped the suspects' SUV, which rolled over and hit another car before landing on its side.
Another civil lawsuit has been filed against the Stockton Diocese alleging sexual abuse by a Catholic priest, this time on behalf of a 25-year-old man who says he was molested by Oliver O'Grady in the early 1980s.
A man driving a stolen car in was wounded by police Monday afternoon but is expected to survive after crashing into a bus and trying to run down two officers, the Merced Police Department reported. Police haven't released the man's name, saying only that he's in his late 20s or early 30s.
